I don't know why nutritionists believe that a DIET is necessary to staying healthy. Further, I don't know why they think using supplements, even those that are banned (ephedra) is the answer to weight problems.

Most of the weight problems originate from our schools. Despite all the calls for healthier foods in our schools, kids are still being fed deep-fried food, sugary drinks and cereal with a lot of sugar in them (Fruit of the Loops, etc.)

I believe this is deliberate and encouraged by the corporations whose objectives are served from a overweight population.

Canada banned ephedra and Hydroxycut from ever entering their market. Our corrupt FDA only banned Hydroxycut last month.

For women (or men) who do eat but can't gain weight, please check with your doctor to see if you have Celiac Disease. This condition can cause you to stay on the thin side despite what you eat. It also causes other health problems if not found in time. It can be determined with a blood test called a "Celiac Panel." Many doctors are not familiar with Celiac Disease or Celiac Sprue and will try to talk you out of needing this blood test. Seek out a good Internist or Gastro doctor if you can to run these tests - they may want to perform an endoscopy to double check; but the blood test should suffice for the diagnosis. Once it's determined you have celiac, you'll need to go on a "gluten-free" diet for life, but you'll feel much better and perhaps gain some weight in the right places.
