Dropkick Murphys Guitarist Proposes to Girlfriend on Springsteen's Stage

Want a guaranteed "yes" after proposing marriage? Try asking your partner on Bruce Springsteen's stage. That's what Dropkick Murphys' guitarist Tim Brennan did Wednesday night in the Murphys' hometown of Boston. Brennan joined Springsteen onstage and got down on bended knee to ask his girlfriend, Diana, to marry him, according to Backstreets.com.With Nils Lofgren holding the mic, she said yes, giving 20,000 fans a sense of relief and reason to cheer. Springsteen then dedicated the tour premiere of 'So Young and In Love' to the couple, declaring, "This is going to be their wedding song."
To celebrate, Brennan and some bandmates joined the E Street Band for the appropriately Celtic-rocking 'American Land' and 'Glory Days.' Later, the E Streeters rocked the Ramones' 'I Wanna be Sedated' for the first time ever.

I would have said no. Any guy that proposes to me in front of that absolute idiot Springsteen has got to be just as big of a jerk. Why does this Springsteen even have a career? He has about 2 or 3 mediocre songs if that, that he did over 30-35 years ago! Give me a break already and snap that rubber band, it`s been stretched out as far as it can go. I`m so sick hearing about this jerk. Meanwhile someone like Morrissey has once again put out an absolutely brilliant album 2 months ago and you hear NOTHING about the guy in the press!

Obviously there is a reason why you hear nothing about, who?, Morrissey! Who are they anyway? I guess the millions and millions of The Boss"s fans are all crazy and you are not. He may be past his prime, but a lot of people still enjoy listening to one of the best Jersey rockers of our time. And just because you do not like his music does not make him a jerk; you're the jerk for making that comment!

Are you freaking kidding me? Springsteen a jerk? I'm sure that's why he is such a major proponent of the revitalization of Asbury Park. That's why his tours have some of the lowest ticket prices. It's alright for you to not like his music, but to call him a jerk, no way.

i doubt anyone would propose to you naomi on anyone's stage. I have seen springsteen 9 times (tonight will be the 10th) and the fact that a rock legend sells out in 20 minutes at the age of 60 speaks for itself. drop kick or whoever they are will be in old folks homes at that age.
