Remember when the Black Lips eamed with Wu-Tang Clan's GZA for a shock-and-huh? performance at this year's SXSW? Yeah, that wasn't a joke. Now, the Lips and GZA are formally releasing their track together, titled 'The Drop I Hold,' even if the former cops to the cheese often found with rap/rock fusion. "[It's a] bad idea," the Lips' Jared Swilley tells Spinner of rap/rock combos. "It's led to some of the worst music of all-time. It can be done tastefully, but there is a very fine line to be tread."
