It seems rock 'n' roll engagements were the hip thing this weekend. Nine Inch Nails frontman Trent Reznor and West Indian Girl vocalist Mariqueen Maandig, whose actual age is unknown, are set to tie the knot, according to a post on her band's website.

The typo-filled announcement reads "in case u havent heard the news, mariqueen got engaged. everyone in the west indian girl camp is super excited and happy for her. q's an awesome person, friend and bandmate and she couldnt be marrying a cooler guy. talk about analog and digital love -- their kids might all have moogs for arms." The pair only revealed their relationship last week, arriving together at the premiere of the new 'Star Trek' film.

The 43-year-old Reznor has never been married before. Meanwhile, Nine Inch Nails are hitting the road with Jane's Addiction and Tom Morello's Street Sweeper Social Club this Friday, while West Indian Girl are working on an EP to follow up 2007's '4th & Wall.'
