Ida Maria has a thing for older men -- or at least one older man in particular. She's crazy for James Osterberg Jr. -- better known as Iggy Pop.

"I would love to do a duet with Iggy Pop," the Norwegian rocker tells Spinner. "I'm kind of trying to get hold of him. I don't know who his manager is."

Maria saw Pop perform last summer and was so awestruck by his talent, she wanted to cancel her appearance later that night. "I was going to play a show after that, but I was so depressed," she says. "I played the show but I wasn't very happy about it."

The Godfather of Punk has a magical hold on the 24-year-old Maria. "I kind of feel related to him in a strange way," she continues. "I know that he's sensitive person and a quite an emotional guy. He's been putting that hard edge on his performance for the past 30 years, and I really look up to him for what he's doing. He's the king of the balance between the soft and the hard -- very vulnerable. He's having so much fun doing it. He's playing for people my age. And he's at least twice our age. He rocks. "
