"I was always third runner-up." --Jessica Simpson

In a recent interview, the blond bombshell discussed what it was like to be compared to ... other blond bombshells. She explained, "I wanted to set myself apart from [Britney Spears and Christina Aguilera]."

Sorry, but I never ever thought Simpson was that pretty, her sister either. Jess looks like a bleach blond and virtually every picture of her makes her face look hard. She even looks hard in this photo. She's not as pretty as Spears or Aguilera, and she should consider herself fortunate to come in third to them. I don't think she should even place. One last thing: she can't hold a candle to Barbara Bach's 'Daisy Duke'. Barbara is tall, has legs that go to Heaven, and was beatifully proportionate while she rocked a pair of Daisy Dukes. Simpson just looked short and sounded phoney.

I'm sure Jessica is smarter than the typical blond bimbo, but she doesn't help herself... If she were to finish behind Britney and Christina wouldn't she be second runner up?

Jess has never been even close to as pretty as Brit of Christina she has kind of a horse face. Christina definately has the best voice followed by Jess and then Brit, but Jess' songs aren't catchy nor very good. Either her pop songs or her country for that matter. She does have a nice body for sure and a good voice but needs better song writers. Also she can't act for crap.

I agree. Jessica Simpson along with many others just looks hard to me. If you look at that picture of her, she looks like any mother searching through the trailer park looking for her kid. No way you would believe she has the money she does. All these actresses, models and singers look just as rough as the next without their makeup and cameramen. I truly look better than half of them and that is not saying much, I just cannot sing or act...

See, since she seems to be the one pepole love to hate, I like her. I just think she's judged too much and too harshly.

I don't think Jessica did justice to the Daisy Duke role in Dukes of Hazzard. She seemed more of a "look at me" actress than one who has true substance. Her so-called dance was on the scuzzy side. I couldn't tell if she was trying to do burlesque or just what. As for singing, she has a mediocre voice. Just as with Madonna and Britney, whatever sells is the name of the game no matter the lack of a good voice. Christina has a great voice and looks to boot.

Any of you men saying that Jess is not hot are not fooling anyone... you are probably all 300+ pounds, living in Mommys basement, and sitting in your dirty boxers as you write it... ANY ONE OF YOU would give 20 years off your life to spend an hour with her, and you know it. Idiots.

I think she may have a nice voice if she just sang a song. She spends most of a song trying to cross every range on one word.
