"She's not the best singer in the world, but she doesn't give a s---" --Wayne Coyne

The Flaming Lips frontman recently told Spinner that he finds Madonna's bold-yet-blasé attitude toward her not-so-perfect pipes "great."

    regarding Cohn's comments.....
I gues that is why she is a star and he is just a frontman for some 2nd rate group.

Jesus! Some idiots don't even take a moment to process what they're reading before rattling off some inane bullshit. You aren't even responding to the INTENT of his statement! He KNOWS he's not the best vocalist by pop standards. He was GIVING HER PROPS, ASSHOLE! Try it sometime... Makes you feel when you APPRECIATE other people.

Madonna? #1, her name itself is a blasphemy. That skank has not been "Like a Virgin" since age 10. #2 Her act is totally stale, and I fail to understand why she is such a "person of interest" to the masses. This is one self-consumed P.O.S. that I could live without. I realize that she could give a rip about me, either, but, I care not. Wither away, you hag.

My, my, my...apparently some people's mothers forgot to teach them that if you have nothing nice to say about someone, then you shouldn't say anything at all. There's also another quote. It's from the Bible..."Judge not lest ye yourself be judged."

You are so COLD in what you say....Why Comment AT ALL????????????? Do you NOT have anything better to do wtih your time. Look someone else up and see what GOOD that you can say about them....Maybe since you only have bad things to say you are so disappointed in yourself.....I am NOT condoning her...But YOU shoudl step back and ask GOD what he would DO???? I be he would NOT have even commented......Go look for something that you feel good about so that you don't have to say all these bad things.....

I get it, you stink up the place so bad that you have to pick on someone Famous just to get your name out there.
Sad attempt to get seen or heard.

The Flaming Lips are one of the hidden gems in music--although they are getting better known. Their show is both an event as well as just plain old fun.

I know it's in vogue to just whip out a smart comment, but you're way off base on this one Bill

Madonna has to be the least talented, over rated 'singer'in the last 25 years. She can't sing, act, write or produce. Yet, she is worth millions. It doesn't say much about the stupidity of her fans.

MADONNA never bores me and yet she can be the most versatile singer in her genre. She has done Broadway style tunes to Rave style and a lil bit of Rap mixed in. I LOVE YOU MADONNA!!

Gee. Madonna's only been in the business for--what, 27 years, whereas the Flaming Lips are only known for "She Don't Use Jelly." I think Mr. Coyne is guilty of some truly lousy timing...

Apparently, you missed the point of his comment. Wayne respects Madonna getting through the undustry by having fun. After all, Wayne may not be the best singer, but he is a musical influence. And he's not that good of a singer by mainstream standards either.

bill? id compare the flaming lips music and their fans to the grateful dead heard of them? everyones entitled to an opinion, im sure u've had your share, i just read one! he's saying, in a polite way, even thou her voice isn't where it once was, she's still out there not careing, doing her thing. id have to agree. madge has never been known for her voice anyway, she's a performer,im sure alot better back in the 90's, where you might be stuck? opps an opinion, but the ima woman hear me roar sexuality she flaunted in lyric's, video's and on stage is what madonna was all about shock value nothing more.

I liked Madonna years ago as a child. Then again what do us kids know anyways? We think we have taste in music but is it really music? I think she is a pig and a disgrace to women. She is a horrible performer that only gets attention when she is masturbating or deep throating water bottles. Needless to say a home wrecker too.
