At night one of his two-night stand at New Jersey's Izod Center, Bruce Springsteen reflected on the many shows he's played at the Meadowlands complex (a banner on the ceiling proclaimed it to be 56 sold-out gigs) and the demise next year of neighboring Giants Stadium, home to both the NFL's New York Giants and Jets. But Springsteen let the crowd know they have one more round of partying to go before the goodbyes. "Before they bring the wrecking ball, we're gonna bring the wrecking crew," he promised the sold-out arena, informing them that he and the E Street Band would be back this fall.Appropriately enough, Springsteen and his E Street Band will be the final musical act to play the stadium, when they help close it down September 30, October 2 and 3. Tickets for the shows go on sale June 1. As of now, the band's 'Working on a Dream' official U.S. trek wraps Friday night in New Jersey ... with a Bonnaroo date still to come.
