Matisyahu, 'One Day' -- Song Premiere

Matisyahu has explored a number of musical styles over the course of a relatively short, whirlwind career, but his universal message of peace and unity has always remained the same. The reggae MC is continuing his pursuit of positivity on 'One Day,' the first single of his third studio album, 'Light,' due in late August.

"'One Day' is the song I've been wanting to make since I started my career," Matisyahu tells Spinner. "It is an anthem of hope with a big beat -- the kind of song that makes you bob your head and open your heart at the same time."

This song is a complete ripoff of Forever Young by Alphaville. You can play the two songs side by side and the cords almost line up perfectly. I smell lawsuit.

"One Day" was so beautiful, it brought tears to my eyes. I too have prayed all my life for peace. Oh that the children of all races could play together without the racial biases and influences of their parents. It is such a beautiful prayer. Thank you!
