People can be ignorant. You can feel alone and not be physically alone. It's called "Depression". And it usually occurs when a romantic relationship shatters. I feel bad for Manson. An artist who lost his muse AND lover. It must be terrible.

WOW! The psychiatrist is in. Your comments are safe but far too simplistic. I can occur when a relationship shatters, IF you didn't want it to end. Depression is far more complex than you statement. As for losing his muse and lover, looks to me like he set himself up for it and enjoys the tragic lifestyle. I am a psychiatrist.

Everyone that was in the band when they started took a first name from a female icon, and the last name from a killer. Marilyn Monroe + Charles Manson = Marilyn Manson; Twiggy + Richard Ramirez = Twiggy Ramirez. Get it now? Other band members: Gidget Gein, Madonna Wayne Gacy, Daisy Berkowitz. Every band members name was/is a reference to pop culture. And Manson cites Cooper as a huge influence, by the way.

I went my separate ways with my boyfriend of close to 20yrs back in October of 2008, and i didnt do much during the holiday season and on my birthday and you sure as hell dont see me crying about it. I TOTALLY SURVIVED and right now i am doing rather well on my own and very happy to come and go and do what i want. HE NEEDS TO GET A LIFE, or just go out and find some freak to live with.

I'm glad that you're doing great after the spilt with your ex, but don't you think that you are being rather insensitive towards Manson? Maybe your relationship had already run its course and it sounds like you simply didn't care. I'm glad that Manson cared!

From what I read about him, he's actually quite smart. He find another woman. At least he didn't make a career of dissing his mommy and his wife like say some closet homo named Marshall Mathers.
