Soul screamer Black Joe Lewis has come a long way from the Texas pawn shop where he first learned to play guitar just 7 years ago. He and his Honeybears opened for Little Richard and caught the eye of Spoon's Britt Daniel, who asked Lewis and Co. to tour with his band. It was Spoon drummer, Jim Eno, in fact, who produced Lewis' first album, 'Tell 'Em What Your Name Is.' Now, another first: a video. 'I'm Broke,' directed by Turkey -- aka Daniel Gibbs -- mirrors the song in its steady build and owes a lot to a trusty green screen. "My favorite part is during the bridge when I'm on the spaceship with the girls," Lewis tells Spinner. "I dedicate that shot to Gene Roddenberry."
