Stryper Guitarist to Wed Former Hooker

Plenty of heavy metal musicians have dated porn, um, actresses, but Stryper guitarist Oz Fox is gonna one up 'em --the axman will marry Annie Lobért, a 41-year-old who used to be a high-class hooker. The couple met in February 2008, and will be married this Friday in Las Vegas.But here's the kicker: Stryper has always been a Christian metal band and Lobért is the founder of Hookers for Jesus, a Vegas ministry that aims to help victims of sex trafficking.
According to her website, Lobért spent 11 years as a prostitute and dancer in Hawaii, Minneapolis and Las Vegas, boasting a John list that included celebrities and professional athletes. After suffering through all the horrors associated with the business, she quit in 1998 at the insistence of a regular client. She now spreads her word through interviews, lectures and an upcoming autobiography entitled, what else but 'Hooker for Jesus.' Stryper is set to release the album 'Murder by Pride' in July, and tour this fall.

Mary Magdalene was a prostitute in the Bible. She also
was changed after she became a follower of Jesus. We have no right to judge this woman because of her former profession. I pray God will bless her union to Oz.

No she wasnt. The only thing close to suggesting that she was a prostitute in the Bible is a passage where Jesus was talking to a prostitute and a few verses later he is talking to her. If you find that I am wrong please post the scripture that proves it here and I will surely apologize.

Dumbass... Mary Magdaline was NOT a hooker, prostitute, concubine, etc., She did not follow Jesus, she became his wife and bore his daughter and continued to be an enlightenist after Jesus was murdered by his fellow christians. The bible and christianity are man-made. Christianity is a male dominated, woman submissive religon full of bigotry, misogyny, murder, lust, rape, incest, hate, jealousy, and stupidity. Anyone who actually believes the bible has meaning or that christianity's deity is a loving, nurturing one seriously needs mental help.

hey Vammatar, I think the Bible says for wives to submit to their husbands BUT for men to love their wives like Christ loved the church. I don't know what Bible you are reading... I would like to know what type of "religion" you are following that is so perfect compared to the Bible.

There is absolutely nothing in the Bible that would indicate that Mary Magdalene was a prostitute.

Mary Magdalene was not a prostitute. It was a mistake made in reading the the bible because of the way that the story flowed and then was perpetuated by the catholic church because of their hate for women, and a want to discourage talk of a possible relationship between her and Jesus as in 'Jesus was celebate, and would certainly have nothing to do with a "former prostitute" in that manner'

Actually, I believe that it was proven that a pope changed the description of Mary Magdeline in the Bible to show that a man or woman could commit the gravest of sins and that they could still be forgiven and enter God's flock. I remember seeing something about this on the History Channel regarding the life of Jesus.

The "documentaries" on the life of Jesus put out by History Channel, Discovery channel, CNN et al. are distorted interpretations of the truth. They are meant to cloud the true image of who Jesus was. One historian said it plainly. You have only two choices: Either Jesus was a liar, or he was exactly who he said he was. I believe the latter, that Jesus was God, is God and will always be God.

Mary of magsalene was not a prostitute however she was a "loose" woman which is why she was not already married and why they wanted her stoned. She did have her fair share of problems though and many of the disciples didn't like her because of this.
