In MGMT's new video for 'Kids' (the latest single from their debut 'Oracular Spectacular'), the group once again has created a psychedelic landscape that matches their swirl-around-your-head sounds. Except that instead of seeing our surroundings through a blissed-out lens, this time we're brought into the big bad world that a young baby experiences as he journeys from the crib to the SUV. Director Ray Tantori makes it clear that it's a jungle out there and even mommy (portrayed by Joanna Newsom) and the police can appear to be Blue Meanies. But MGMT, at least, are still doing it for the kids.
