Gene Simmons Auctions Kidney Stone for Charity

From coffee mugs to caskets, the men of Kiss have never been above selling out. But Gene Simmons has upped his game by auctioning off his kidney stone on eBay for a righteous $15,000.

"I passed a kidney stone and I put it on eBay for charity," the Kiss bassist told the 'Today Show.' "I got $15 grand."

Host Kathie Lee Gifford then asked Simmons how much he might get for other parts of his body. To which Simmons -- who was plugging his A&E series 'Gene Simmons Family Jewels' -- jokingly snapped, "Settle down."

    Subtle, Gifford.

Because eBay claims it no longer sells "bodily" items, there has yet to be a confirmation that the rocker actually pawned his chunk of calcium oxalate. In related news, Kiss is currently working on their first studio album in eleven years. The band will also launch an 8-date tour, dubbed 'Kiss Alive 35,' this July.

Normally, I do not like stereotyped comments, but this one unfortunately is supported by his behavior.

He's a copy cat... William Shatner did it first and got
    25 grand back in 2006.

    Careful people,
Just imagine if other celebrity types
started auctioning other things that have
    "passed" through their digestive systems.

The paramedic that responded to the Elvis call where he was found on the crapper says he often thinks that if he knew then what he knew today, he wouldn't have flushed the toilet right away.

How greedy and ridiculous can this assanine man be?

I am a stone producer, and have 4 sitting in my left kidney right at this moment. I have been producing them since 1984. I have only passed 3 out of the 8, that I have already had to deal with, the others, I had to have broken with shock waves or lasers etc. and have stents put in...all in all very uncomfortable stuff. My brother produces uric acid stones and almost yearly has to go in and have a small incision but in his back and a tube placed directly into the kidney to drain them, there are so many.

It is quite apparent, that having too much money does cause one not to know how to live like a human being.

Shame on him, and his parents for spoiling him, and making him see himself as someone better than everyone else!!

"He is a self made millionaire"- yeah if you call latching on to Paul Stanley and riding his coat tails to fame and fortune.Lost all respect for him after watching his show and realizing he is nothing but a parasite, and just pure ego. I would love to get him in a ring for just 30 seconds, then he could auction his teeth!

first album in 11 years! Wow it takes 11 years for these losers to come up with something new? These clowns have ripped off their fans for many years with their "Farewell Tours" Then they screwed over their original members Ace Frehley and Peter Criss while imposters wear their makeup. Gene and Paul have always been greedy bloodsuckers. Hang it up Gene!
