Dave Matthews Band, 'Funny the Way It Is' -- Video Premiere

The first video from Dave Matthews Band's new album, 'Big Whiskey and the GrooGrux King,' might look familiar. Directed by Fenton Williams and Jeff Crane, the clip employs a bevy of stop-motion animation a la Peter Gabriel's 'Sledgehammer.' And what would a DMB video be without a little live action? DMB is just awesome...The new video is odd, but music commands your attention. Just like alot of their songs.

Yeep! i agree. well we are Experiencing the END of DMB. It is very sad. they where one of my favorites. the last Few tracks OK. Not like the 1st albums. after CRASH. i did not like every song. DAVE get it together. Well iI guess it is to late. I like only 5 of the 13 tracks.

Very weird, but for some reason I love it. It brings a different side of Dave out. But definitely reminds me of the 'Eh Hee' video. Pretty cool it only took him 9 minutes to make this video.

This is nothing like 'Sledgehammer' and this isn't stop motion. Dave lip-synced to the song slowed down and they filmed it at a slower speed then sped up the footage to match the song in real time. Thanks for putting more misinformation out there in the world.

anyone able to watch the video end to end without a buffer gap? Pile of steaming poo - 5 secs of vid and 30 sec of waiting (on a high speed connection)... Sad - DMB, look into getting better technologists

Great Song, but video is quite strange... almost as strange as Dave himself! :) I guess you can get away with doing whatever the hell you want when you have DMB talent.
