Paul McCartney Wants to 'Dance' With MGMT

We'd bet that few 66-year-olds are familiar with MGMT. But Paul McCartney isn't your average sexagenarian. You knew that already. The former Beatle recently voiced his MGMT fandom, and admits he'd like to work with the Brooklyn indie duo.

"I like MGMT," McCartney said. "I'd like to work on some more dancey stuff with [them]. But it has to happen organically. I can't call them. If they called me, I'd say, 'How did you get my number?' But I'd do it."

As for McCartney's other possible collaboration with Bob Dylan, well, don't hold your breath. "So much has been written about me doing a collaboration with Bob or me doing a collaboration with Ringo and Bob," McCartney said. "But that is not happening yet. We're nowhere near. I did say I wanted to work with Bob but that was ages ago and he hasn't been in touch. I can't contact him. That's not cool ... 'Hey Bob, what's happening? Where's the party?'"

Apparently at MGMT's.
