Potent Quotables: GaGa the Fame Fiend

"I would die if someone took [fame] away ... I wouldn't be a person anymore." --Lady GaGa

We (kinda) felt bad for the dance-pop princess when, in a recent interview, she revealed that "for a very long time" people said she "was not pretty enough." Then this came out of her 'Poker Face.'

so this is how she defines herself? really sad, because her 15 minutes will be up soon, I hope, she can always wash dishes for a living.

She's probably a high dollar record executive's relative. How else would this talentless flash in the pan get a record deal. If she can't live without fame she'd better kill herself now because she'll fall off the face of the earth faster than the shitty mainstream rap trend ends. She is in desperate need of attention to focus so much emphasis on fame...or she just has a super inferiority complex.

she actually was one of the people who would wrote songs for other pop stars, and then decided she could sing terrible songs as well as write them

they picked her out because she an actually play keyboard and piano and she can sing without an auto tune... maybe you should actually do music like i have done professionally.... go to aol and listen to her stripped down version of poker face.... not eveyone can sing perfect not even celine

How can she already have this opinion about fame she hasn't been around that long?

I absolutely disagree with all the bashes on lady gaga... her music rocks every night out. I cant go any where without hearing 'Poker Face' 'just dance' and 'love game' all in one night.. It only gets annoying when after you've heard them all at one the same three play at the next bar you go too and the next and the next.. she isnt going any where.. Shes gonna be kinda like Christina Aguilara and Brittany Spears cuz not only is every song she has made become a hit she is drop dead gorgeous... if her music goes sour she always has her face to fall back on..

true but music being popular and music being good are far from synonymous... they are def overplayed, but so are many other contemporary songs... one of the reason i prefer rock over rap and pop is simply the radio stations are more diverse in the song choices... its almost a shame whenever i hear a good rap or pop song cause i kno within a year few will listen to it anymore

its not even that she is ugly (she isnt pretty tho) but i feel as if the blonde wig and pink lipstick almost clashes with her darker complexion... she had potential to b moderately attractive but is trying too hard to be mainstream to realize it
