Hanson Pay Respect to Michael Jackson

From one musical family to another, Hanson pay their respect to Michael Jackson, who, like the brothers, was thrust into the musical spotlight at a young age. Jackson passed away Thursday at the age of 50.

"It is difficult to think of a more impactful loss from the passing of an icon, than that of Michael Jackson," the Hanson brothers -- Taylor, Isaac and Zac -- tell Spinner. "His entire 40-year career has been one of the greatest inspirations to our music. In the early part of our career he and his brothers helped motivate us to pursue music regardless of our age."

"He was an unequaled talent who set the bar for how music can affect the world," they continue. "We join the millions of music fans, mourning the passing of this true great."

I knew from the first time I started listening to Hanson that they were very much influenced in a good way from Michael Jackson. He will be missed.
