When Eels' E (aka Mark Oliver Everett) calls Michael Jackson a "weirdo," he does so with affection. In fact, E has nothing but respect for the late pop icon and his music."They don't make stars like Michael Jackson anymore," E tells Spinner. "Staggeringly talented, from his first hit with the Jackson 5, 'I Want You Back' -- one of the most deceptively complicated and amazing pop songs ever made -- to 'Billie Jean' ... We won't be seeing his like again. Plus, he was a genuine weirdo, which is always a plus in my book."
Jackson died Thursday at the age of 50.
