IFLTS: 'Rock With You,' Michael Jackson

'Rock With You,' Michael Jackson
From 1979's 'Off the Wall'

'Rock With You' is truly one of the most iconic songs of all time, from the moment the drums kick things off with that unforgettable snare snap. When Michael sings "Girl, when you dance, there's a magic that must be love," it's a moment of pure pop bliss. I love the cheesy space-flute solo without a trace of irony. Few things can bring me joy as consistently as this song -- for me, it's a testament to the uplifting power pop music can have on the spirit.
