Michael Jackson's friend and fellow pop culture icon MC Hammer tells Spinner that, now that the King of Pop has passed, it's the duty of his fans and loved ones to carry Jackson's creative torch.

"Michael Jackson lit the fuse that ignited the spirit of dance in us all," Hammer tells Spinner. "He gave us a song and a sweet melody that will never die. Now we all carry his legacy with joy and pride."

I am shocked and have been in utter disbelief that MJ
is gone.Ive been glued to my television trying to absorb
this devastating news.I took a break to go online and purchase 3 c.d's so I could have his music with me forever. What a shame it is that people did not show him
the love and respect while he was alive. perhaps if the world showed him that, MJ might have not depended on
drugs to mask his pain. The media was responsible for
his downfall. Rest In Peace Michael..... You will never be forgotten.

I have been a fan of Michael Jackson since he began his career. I am not sure people realize what a huge loss the world is experiencing with his passing. Michael, may God bless you, your music and your family forever.

I can't believe that he is gone. The world seem different to me. I think he was cuter when he was longer. He started as a black kid[ looks ike a man] and now he looked like a white woman.

The only influence he had on this world was teaching little kids that its ok to grab your crotch in public - and while doing so - say things like - I love you all and "god is great" He was a freak - a no talent monster who set the stage for celebrity chasing. he lowered every standard known to civilization and those "ludicrous" individuals who looked up to him are as sick as he was. This world is a better place without that deviant narcissistic sociopath around. I’m throwing a party to celebrate his death and will go to his grave and grab my crotch just like he taught the world to do - Rot in hell you sick twisted freak - WOOO HOOOO ! the king of the freaks is dead - Jesus is great -- thank you so much for putting him in hell with Hitler, and all the monsters of the world! WACKO JACKO the press may say the world mourns - but in truth most of us are soooo Happy!

Oh please MC Hammer to carry on the torch? Dude you aint been able to do that for the past 20 years for your own self. Give us all a break. The torch needs to be handed to one of his sisters or brothers who are worthy of it. You are not in his league.

You should try and find Jesus. Find out what it means to be a Christian.

    MICHAEL THE NARC-ANGEL

Millions of little members of the worldwide F.F.A. (Future Followers of the Antichrist) have finally learned how to find a certain part of their lower anatomy and quickly touch it while dancing - thanks to Michael Jackson, the highest paid Lower Anatomy Toucher of all time! Special thanks also go to the Jesus-bashing, Hell-bound Hollywood moguls who were just as quick to see higher profits in lower anatomies! [Just saw this opinion on the web. Other grabby items on MSN, Google, etc. include "Separation of Raunch and State," "David Letterman's Hate, Etc.," "Tribulation Index becomes Rapture Index," and "Bible Verses Obama Avoids." - something for everyone!]

dartanyan, you wrote very nasty comments about Michael Jackson.Stop hating on his talent.Jealousy is as cruel as the grave!Listen to what's in your heart about another human being that God made!If you don't know anyhing about Jesus, please don't pretend to.You are going to reap what you said about him. You've planted seeds of hatred and jealousy, also false accusation. The false accusation against God because he has not put Michael in hell. You don't know where he is!!!!!!Be careful ! You need to repent! Jesus loves you! Don't go there yourself!!
