Third Eye Blind's Stephan Jenkins Is 'Indebted' to Michael Jackson

To say that among many musicians' first-purchased albums was either the Jackson 5 or Michael Jackson would be an understatement. In the past 24 hours, countless artists have Twittered, Facebooked and press released their Jackson memories, including their MJ album collection. Third Eye Blind's Stephan Jenkins is no exception.

"[The first album] I ever heard in my life was the Jackson 5," Jenkins tells Spinner. "And that moment colored my entire life after that. And to that, I will honestly say that in his strange, brilliant and sad life, I'm indebted to Michael Jackson and the fact that he was alive. One moment of silence for Michael."
