Former Rage Against the Machine guitarist Tom Morello turned to Michael Jackson's music to reflect on the life and death of the King of Pop, who passed away in Los Angeles suddenly at age 50. "My favorite Michael Jackson song is 'Ben' from the 1972 movie of the same name," Morello tells Spinner. "It's a beautiful song about a lonely, troubled and misunderstood boy. A boy who finds solace in an unlikely friendship with another outcast who loves him for who he is."
Morello wraps his tribute with words that have been and will be expressed time and again over the next few days. "Rest in peace, Michael Jackson."
