"Sky lived everyday with the concept of love as his guide, and he walked the talk," blogged the Smashing Pumpkins frontman in a recent post. "He was a spiritual warrior who would tell me that Yahowha knew the beauty of our hearts, and that musicians were the living prophets of the world." Corgan also posted the lyrics for the song here.
Saxon -- born Richard Marsh -- died June 25th in an Austin, Texas hospital. His last performance was Saturday, June 20 at the local venue Antone's. As the frontman for the iconic L.A. band, Saxon was a proto-punk innovator in the mid-1960s, crafting memorable anthems like 'Pushin' Too Hard' and 'Can't Seem to Make You Mine.'
