    Potent Quotables: Durst Slams Obama

"I did not vote ... for a President because I still believe we haven't found one." --Fred Durst

In a recent interview, the rap-rocker dissed President Barack Obama, then blamed the "anarchy" of politics for what he called his voting "phobia."

Why is it always non-voters that have the biggest complaints about the President? If you didn't vote, you are in no position to criticize anyone that was elected by the voting public. Now, Fred Durst is just that washed up hollywood has-been that isn't worth mentioning. It's OK if Spinner wants to ignore the fact that Fred Durst even exists....the rest of the world already has.

I didn't vote either because I didn't like Mccain or Obama. I'm not really a Democrat or a Republican and I hate the fact that the media makes us feel like you have to align yourself with one party or the other. Republicans just blame the worlds problems on the Democrats and vice versa. Politicians should look at themselves more as Americans and less as Republicans and Democrats.

You could have still voted as an Independent. Be grateful for the freedom and opportunity to be able to vote!

I have not seen a president that everyone has agreed on yet. I think of everyone who has a complaint on the president for no reason is because they voted for the other guy and there are just so many so sore losers..... Obama has not been in office long enought to judge him on any thing yet. I didnt like Bush but ya know what it was not because he announced war... had he not how many Americans would have screamed about the fact he hadnt and now that he did people hate him for it.. I would definately nt want to be president they are always in the lose lose situation. And Like I said give Obama a chance to do something wrong b4 you go and judge him.

Haha, you don't know what you're talking about if you're saying Obama hasn't done anything wrong. He has been in the office for over 100 days and yet has done nothing helpful for our economy. He hasn't really don't shit.

I agree with Jasonny699. Be an American. Don't let the parties take control of politics.

And Lizzie, shut the fuck up. You're out of line saying that. Most PEOPLE don't know what's going on in America. If you're watching CNN or any other liberal ass news network, you have NO idea what's going on.

Turn on fox news, watch a little Glenn Beck. That'll open your eyes.

You're an absolute moron if you think President Obama has "done nothing". Fixing the economy CANNOT be done in 100 days, unless perhaps Obama had a direct phone line to God HImself. The plans and practices that President Obama is putting into play now will help stablize the economy in the future, and prevent the same sorts of predatory loans, balloon payments, and sneaky lending that got us into this mess in the first place. You're probably watching the wrong Bill - try tuning into Mahr instead of O'Reilly and you might walk away with some facts instead of constant bloviating.

Fred Durst is an Arrogant Idiot who makes Horriable Music, That's why Wes Boreland left to play with the NIN guys and Now Marilyn Manson, I agree with Iggy Pop on how bad Limp Dick or whatever his bands name was. He doesnt't have enough of a brain to intelligently vote.

I agree! Fred Durst had 15 minutes of fame (luck). Besides, he needs to look up the definition of "anarchy"...he obviously does not know the definition....anarchy IS a total lack of government. Why is he even talking about politics, anyway??

Oh, Fred. Quit trying to sound smart. No one's buying it. No one's EVER going to buy it from the guy who came up with: "So you can take that cookie and stick it up your, yeah!"
Ugh. I think I just vomited in my mouth just a bit.

I'm so confused. When dorky celebs come out a-swinging for Obama and Kerry it's like "COOL! I'm voting the way that [insert celeburtard here] votes! They are so cool and in touch with me and my suffering." But when a dorky celeb comes out and doesn't have the canned "I hate Bush" rhetoric, people are like "He's a tool! Obama's the best!"
