Farm Aid Revealing New Location One Tweet at a Time

Willie Nelson's Farm Aid concert will have a new location this year but the exact details won't be made known for a week. Unless you can guess them.

Organizers of the annual event, which raises money to help struggling American farmers, have taken to Twitter to give fans one hint per day, for the next seven days, about where the 2009 Farm Aid will take place.

Hint No. 1 came today: "Your state feeling left out? This year's concert will be in a city and state where Farm Aid has never been held!"

So that rules out New York City, Champagne, Ill., Irving, Texas, Louisville, Ky., New Orleans, La., and more than a dozen other cities that have hosted the concert event. You can follow Farm Aid on Twitter to get the daily hints here.

Willie is joined by Neil Young, John Mellencamp and Dave Matthews on the Farm Aid board. Each year, country, rock, blues and pop musicians come together to help raise money and awareness for America's family farms. Farm Aid has raised $33 million for farmers since its inception in 1985.
