Ziggy Marley Remixes His Dad's Music for Kids

Simple fact: every generation eventually discovers Bob Marley. But Bob's son, Ziggy Marley, is trying to speed up the process for kids these days. With his help as producer, the late Bob Marley and the Wailers have a number one album again -- on Billboard's kid chart.

'B Is for Bob' is a collection of Marley songs that Ziggy tweaked and remixed for tiny listeners. For example, the original version of the song 'Bend Down Low' might seem a bit too stiff or regimented for the young ones. "I added piano to make the feeling of the song more bouncy," Marley tells Spinner. "The piano is a fun instrument, infusing playfulness into the new version."

Many of the Marley classics you know by heart are included on the album, thereby serving 'Redemption Song,' 'Three Little Birds' and 'Stir It Up' up for the kids. And parents need not worry -- spliff rolling lessons aren't included in the booklet.
