Death Cab for Cutie's Ben Gibbard and Son Volt's Jay Farrar are collaborating on an album inspired by legendary Beat writer Jack Kerouac. Their collaboration evolved while they were both recording tracks for an upcoming Kerouac documentary, 'One Fast Move Or I'm Gone: Kerouac's Big Sur,' which also features Tom Waits and Sage Francis. Kid Sister is releasing further details about her long awaited debut album, which includes guest tracks by Kanye West and Estelle.
British crooner Richard Hawley is releasing his sixth solo album, 'Truelove's Gutter,' on September 22 via Mute.
