It's called BillIE Joe, it's southern. Green Day and Billie Joe are great. even if "21st Century Breakdown" ist not as goog as american idiot. If they wanna do something solo, they should do! Armstrong is a great songwriter, they do catchy tunes and if they want to be how they are...why to bar them for it? It's their own thing and if you don't like them, you mustn't listen to their music.

Well, I think it would be a good idea for them all to have some time for their selves. They probably get sick of each other just like if we hang out with the same person for to long we get sick of them too && if he diecides to do a solo album that would be great too whatever they need to do to make them happy they should do so. Staying happy is very important && just because he needs some space does not mean they will break up it just means they need a break. Huge difference so I don't see what the big deal is.

In my opinion, Billie Joe is a great songwriter and I would definitely check out any solo work he might do. This quote feels out of context, though, and I'm not getting the feeling he'll do a solo project any time soon.
And just because someone records something on their own doesn't mean they've left the band. Josh Homme is in Queens of the Stone Age, Eagles of Death Metal, AND Them Crooked Vultures and I wouldn't say he's abandoned anyone.

After the band broke up for a while I became less of a fan. With their new cd out, I just love them. If they kept going then, I would of always liked them. I love Green Day. If Billie Joe does a solo record I would LOOOVVVEE that also. Billie Joe is my fav. out of the band. I think he's hottt too... =)But yeah I love Green Day!!!
