PJ Harvey Debuts New Tunes at Camp Bestival

Back in March, PJ Harvey told Spinner that though she just released her second collaborative album with John Parish, titled 'A Woman a Man Walked By,' she had already demoed her next solo effort and planned to record it by next spring. While Harvey was mum on specifics, she did say that she plans to ask frequent collaborators Flood and Mick Harvey, along with Parish, to produce.

"All I can say is that I am pleased with it, because I feel it's a grand departure from anything before," she told Spinner. "If I've done that, then for me, it's worked. I'm already feeling like I did, and I'm happy. I'm very pleased because I'm not repeating myself."

Harvey fans can judge for themselves as the rocker debuted two of the new tunes, 'The Last Living Rose' and 'Let England Shake,' last weekend at Camp Bestival in her native Dorset. And unlike Harvey's last solo album, 'White Chalk,' there was no piano to be found though the autoharp did make an appearance. Check out the videos after the jump.
