Back when the indie rock legends the Pixies played their first reunion shows in 2004, fans and critics alike were quick to point out that the band looked like they hadn't skipped a beat. In reality, though, the road back to stage perfection was less than smooth.

'loudQUIETloud' is a documentary following the Pixies from the reunited band's first rehearsals to their triumphant stage return. Tracking both the band's transition from breakup to reunion and the members' lives in between, the film offers old and new fans see a side of them that's never been shown. With the recent announcement of a 'Doolittle' tour, there's never been a better time to watch it and thanks to our friends at SnagFilms, it's available free online. Check it out after the jump.
