Foo Fighters frontman Dave Grohl played three songs at a street-naming ceremony in Warren, OH. Grohl spent his formative years in the town. Warren's Market Alley will now be known as 'Dave Grohl Alley'.Vampire Weekend, TV on the Radio, Band of Horses and Arctic Monkeys all feature on the of console game 'Guitar Hero', alongside the more usual radio-friendly rock of Smashing Pumpkins. 'Guitar Hero 5' is expected to be released September 1.
Simian Mobile Disco persuaded Gossip's Beth Ditto to sing "quietly" for a track on their new album 'Temporary Pleasure', which also features contributions from members of Hot Chip, Klaxons and Yeasayer.
