Masked metallers Slipknot picked up two awards at Kerrang! magazine's annual awards in London. The band -- who returned last year with the album 'All Hope is Gone' -- won best live act and best international act.Arctic Monkeys are to release vinyl copies of their new single 'Crying Lightning' exclusively through Oxfam charity shops in the U.K. It's the first time the shops have sold a newly released single since Band's Aid's 'Do They Know it's Christmas?' in 1984. The singles hit the stores on Aug. 17.
McFly, Pixie Lott and Abba tribute act Bjorn Again have all been added to the lineup of the V Festival later this month.
Limp Bizkit are returning to the studio to record a new album. It will be the rap-rock outfit's first in four years and will include guitarist Wes Borland in the lineup.
