As the ditzy Phoebe Buffay on 'Friends,' Lisa Kudrow didn't exactly appear to be especially enterprising. But in real life, the actress has the know-how to operate a small business: In her younger days, after her idol, David Cassidy, replied to her letter, she established an unofficial fan club for him. "I asked the girls to come over after school," Kudrow remembers. "And if they just each gave me a nickel, that would cover the cost for the refreshments and the photos."
