A newly coiffed and ripped man, Arctic Monkeys' Alex Turner barreled his way through a raucous set at Lollapalooza's Budweiser stage on Day Two of the Chicago festival. The Brit rockers treated the largest crowd of the day, at that point anyway, to some new tunes from the band's forthcoming third album, including 'Crying Lightning.'At the same time, Turner showed some semi-premature nostalgia for the band's early days. Given their rapid ascent to the top, the Arctic Monkeys can't be blamed for feeling like old timers. "I'd like to play another song from that era," Turner said, before playing 'I Bet You Look Good on the Dance Floor,' the hit that brought the Monkeys to the musical forefront. And, like they did just one week ago at New Jersey's All Points West, the band offered up a cover of Nick Cave's 'Red Right Hand.' So, something old, something new, something borrowed ... You get the gist.
