Potent Quotables: Phil Spector's Hoopster Hairdo

"During that time we were watching a lot of basketball and he really liked Ben Wallace ... and so [hair] kept getting a little bit bigger and bigger and it got a little out of hand." --Rachelle Spector

Phil Spector's wife provides some insight into one of her embattled husband's many, many eccentricities. Did you really expect a less bizarre explanation?

You might be right to object to commenting on Spector, but what you said about the victim might have still applied 20 years earlier, if she could act. You probably need to be up on the case to get your righteous indignation in the right tone.

Sorry but you don't pay taxes. Anybody who writes like you do can't possibly hold a high paying job. You can tell a lot by how a person writes. In your case it appears you didn't finish high school if you went at all.

I looked up "bizarre" in the dictionary and there was a picture of Phil Spector.

Phil Spector looks a lot like Senator Arlen Spector. Is ther a relationship there?

There is no relation between Phil Spector and Arlen Specter - notice their last names are spelled differently.

Phil was a musical genius, creator of the wall of sound and without a doubt the greatest record producer of pop music. In his younger days he was a tyrant and he got not better with age. He was eccentric and an ego maniac. But he truly was a genius. What a shame that he went so far off the deep end that it cost the life of someone else. His genius and place in history will now be over shadowed, rightly so, for a heinous act that will be his eternal legacy.

Don't you know you are being used by the right-wing to keep their wealthy friends lining their pockets? Healthcare cannot sustain itself anymore as it is in it's present state. It needs to be electrionically processed. That will save dollars & lives and prevent doctorts from not knowing what another is prescribing to a given patient. There IS no DNR clause. It says that it will pay for DNR counseling for family members.Believe me, if you saw someone die of lung cancer who wished for DNR but the doctors kept doing unnecessary & painful treatments, you'd see that counseling to help with that decision is a good thing!Doctors & hospitals are in the business of making money keeping people alive and NOT killing people off! Always have been and always will be under any payment plan. This plan will be CHEAPER to sustain in the long run.Do you want to pay 2000 or more a month for insurance? That's about what a good family plan is now.How about 5000 a month in 10 years? Get real! This is long over due!

    DJ,
Why don't you do some research for yourself before you start spewing your own "facts"? Do you realize the maniacs at these town hall meeting, screaming and ranting, are paid to do so by insurance companies? But if you you choose to "follow blindly" without doing some investigating on your own, please for the love of God, take your hyperbolic statements elsewhere.

What makes you think the overwhelming majority of Americans gives a rats-ass about Phil Spector? In reality, we couldn't care less, AOL.

Phil Spector's big hair was just preparation for being Bubba's Bitch. I think he actually believed he would get away with murder, being a high profile person, and because O.J. and Bobby Blake both did. So much for our justice system, which is hit and miss, mostly miss!

Phil Spector is an ICON!!! He created The Wall Of Sound! A lot of you people need to educate yourselves before you speak or post anything. Did anyone else watch the trail??? I did & the forensic facts were IGNORED due to his eccentric past. Yes...he played with guns. But...he didn't kill anyone. FORENSICS PEOPLE!!!!! Learn before you judge! And...worry about your own hair!!! Peace, Melissa

Sorry but I don't want government in my life decisions. I had cancer treatments here that saved my life - would not get under Socialized Medicine. Besides, this is just a scam to control you- words are just words- especially when there is no explanations to the detail of the actual Bill where all Americans can read. Wise up before its too late.

The health care reform bill is not socialized medicine. If you have insurance, you can feel free to keep it. If you are dissatisfied with it, you can make another choice. If you have a pre-existing condition, an insurer cannot refuse to take you as a customer. If you lose your job you do not lose your insurance. You would do well to stop listening to the diatribe and look into the facts. Reasonable people may disagree with particulars, but civil discussion of the issues is called for, not programmed lies fed to people to scare them.

Your thinking you know it all, just annoys us that do.
This new medical crap that they a pushing thru is just that crap. I know because I have already seen what is happening with my insurance. I am 65 my friends are also seeing that they can no longer have the pain meds that they need and they are sending thier tests to 2 different doctors to see if they all agree before they even get prescriptions for their hearts or any other problems..and yes..Palin (sorry to say ) is right abolut the plans for not helping children born with problems. I heard it right from the mans lips on nation TV,,he said "our seniors are just going to have to learn to live with certain things that come with old age"..so folks..when you can't walk because of Arthiritis, learn to live with the pain because once we stop producing taxes for the white house we are no longer useful and they want us to do as the American Indians did, walk away and go somewhere to die without bothering the government or our kids.
This is the new Medical TSAR...next yr he will be the new Automotive Tsar, and they only answer to our president who has never had an employee in his life, ran a business, or infact really held a job.!! SO we really don't have a president we have a dictator now in the whitehosue..looks like we screwed up again folks..but this time we are in worsse trouble then the last moron we put in the white house caused. We noe have Muslims in office appointed by our Muslim president who is busy appologizing for the USA..
Hang on the best is yet to come. For all of us at SS age, get prepared to die on pain because your doctor is going t be afraid to write a presciption for pain meds because they are taking away pain meds that cost too much..and we are not worth the costs on this NEW MEDICAL PLAN..these politicans get any drug they want and have this great insurance ,that we will never have , ever, even if we paid for it because WE pay for their insurance and their salaries when they retire..folks isnt it time for the American voters to take back our country??????????????/
