"I mean, seriously, 'The Hills'? No dis, but I mean, okay, f--- it, dis. Stop already. Why is anybody supposed to care?" --Mos Def

Well, you know MTV. Heck, you know cable television. You can say for them to take it off the air, but the more we complain, the more they aren't going to comply. People complained about Miley, Americna Idol AND Twilight. All three of them are going strong in the ratings as we speak, and a new Twilight is getting made as we speak.
Face it. In the go-go gadget generation, daft entertainment is a best seller.

I've enjoyed Mos Def in several movies over the years but when I saw him on Real Time I realized that without a writer he can't put together a coherent sentance.

If you're going to knock someone's eloquence try checking your own spelling skills- it's sentEnce, not sentance. Everyone's so quick to throw stones.

Whats the problem with not liking "The Hills"? I agree with him, I cant stand that show. I used to live in a house with another guy and two girls, all three of whom were addicted to The Hills. It was so inane i thought it use my time constructivly in the next room by headbutting the wall for 30 minutes =) Guys, just watch 30rock for a while, or The Wire - now thats entertainment! =)
