Robbert Bobbert and the Bubble Machine, 'We R Super Heroes' -- Video Premiere

Apples in Stereo frontman Robert Schneider is no stranger to sunny, upbeat power pop. Now he's channeling his talents into an animated alter ego aimed towards kids, dubbed Robbert Bobbert. "The children of the world are the ultimate creative scene," Schneider tells Spinner. "You want someone to hear the details in what you've created, play it for a kid!"

The video was produced by the animation team behind the popular kid's show 'Yo Gabba Gabba,' but the quirky heroes were drawn by a slew of all-star animators. Director Shad Petosky tells Spinner, "We thought it'd be fun since the song is about superheroes to have real comic book artists jam on the music video." Featured among them are Gene Ha, Jordan Crane and Craig McKraken, creator of the 'Powerpuff Girls.' Have a look at the exclusive video premiere after the jump.
