What does being half white half to do with Tina being pretty. There are many black women out there that are not mixed and are georgeous and they're not half white. Why do so many people think that in order for a black woman/person to be pretty they have to have white in them? It's ignorance!! I agree with Jewell BLACK DON'T CRACK, That's why shes georgeous!

There is not one "African American" (most of whom have never visited the continent)who does not carry the genes of other races including Europeon (White) genes. After all, the white masters were known to slip down into the slave cabins and "do it" with female slaves, producing 1/2 white children. 70% of those 1/2 white children or their offspring mixed with Native Americans. Thus,"African Americans" are really mixed race people. At least, Tina Turner has admitted to her Native American Genes and you can see it in her high cheek bones. As for me, I have had my DNA done and ethnically I am an Afro Euroasian.

I have been a great fan of Tina Turner since she began her career. She is a beautiful lady, inside and out! She is an intelligent, spiritual, and talented lady! I've always admired her courage and tenacity. Now about those legs, folks! LOL I can't say enough about where she was and whom she's become, given the determination to rise above(victoriously) her early abuses by others. She rose above it all and I remain one of her biggest fans today!

Check you facts nathanj06, "Ellie Mae" (Tina) isnt part NATIVE American,... Indians are from INDIA! She did author her biography 20+years ago, you may want to read it before attempting to post your opinion as fact. Don't get to hot about the BLACK DON'T CRACK truism...clearly you have seen Tina and many others are a constant testimony to the reality of that statement. Even Madonna (great entertainer, no doubt) at 51, couldnt hold a candle to TINA even with her recent face lift!
