Days after Radiohead caused a minor meltdown when Thom Yorke admitted they had no plans to rush into recording a new album, a song has surfaced on the Internet that may just be the band's latest offering. The song, thought to be titled 'These Are My Twisted Words,' is an austere song similar to earlier material such as 'Knives Out.'
The song, lasting five minutes and 32 seconds, is built around distorted guitars and an equally prominent, menacing bass line. At 2.38, what sounds very much like Thom Yorke's voice intones: "These are my twisted words."
The song was posted on the Radiohead fansite At Ease, alongside a cryptic message. No official confirmation the song is from Radiohead has been given by the band's representatives, nor is there any message on their website. The At Ease message in full reads:

Yorke this week told The Believer magazine the band had not made any firm plans to record a new album, and wanted to release individual songs or EPs in the meantime.
Last week, the band released the song 'Harry Patch (In Memory Of)', a strings-laden piece dedicated to the last of the UK's Great War veterans, Harry Patch, who died last month at 111 years old. It is available for download from the band's site.
All proceeds from the song, which uses lyrics from an interview Patch did with the BBC years earlier, went to the veterans' charity the Royal British Legion.1032546
