Arctic Monkeys Deny Maturity + More
- Posted on Aug 18th 2009 4:42AM by Stephen Dowling
The Arctic Monkeys have denied their new album 'Humbug' is more mature. Drummer Matt Helders told BBC Radio 1's Newsbeat: "I don't think mature is the right word, honestly. Who knows? Next time [the critics will] be calling it immature because of the bar of maturity we've set."Interpol's Paul Banks isn't sure the band's fans will accept his new album as alter-ego Julian Plenti. "What we do in the band is so unique and special and I intend to do some really weird stuff with this, I don't know if people will like it," he told BBC 6 Music.
Guided By Voices frontman Robert Pollard has compiled a DVD of his band's frequently chaotic live shows. 'The Devil Went Home and Puked' will be released in the US on Oct. 20.
