Matisyahu Turns His RV Into a Boombox -- Road Report

Reggae MC Matisyahu is keeping a summer diary for Spinner in advance of his new album, 'Light.' In the second entry, he uses his trusty RV to blast new tracks, takes a ritual dip in a lake and watches a friend battle a tough cockroach.

Just got hit with a tidal wave of fatigue. Back in Brooklyn and still basking in the glory of the 20-something-hour flight from down under. The shows in Sydney and Melbourne were ridiculous, and they made it well worth the grueling travel. We are now planning our return with a proper tour for sometime in January (hush, hush). And here is the second vlog from the road this summer. This one starts by showing how I wake up in my five-star hotel room on a typical day, playing the record for fans on the outside speakers of the RV, (note to JBL: I'm still waiting for that endorsement). And I just want to say I was very against the unnecessary violence to that innocent yet massive cockroach. And to whomever that dude is at the end chanting my name with the tattoo that says "devil's sideshow," may I just say I have a lot of love for you.
