'Totally Wasted' Ron Wood Causes Ruckus at Airport

Despite his age, Rolling Stones guitarist Ron Wood is still hanging on to his partying ways. Earlier this week, the 62-year-old rocker reportedly burst out of Heathrow Airport's Terminal 5 "totally wasted" on a drunken mission to find a lighter.According to the Daily Star, the cigarette-dangling Wood allegedly told the London airport's security to "f--- off", yelling "I don't care, just give me a light." Woody next opened the door of a cab and started searching through its glove compartment, saying, "I'll help you have a look for one."
It's not the first time Wood has painted the town red since relapsing after a July 2008 rehab stint. Last September, he supposedly fell off the wagon after hanging with British artist Damien Hirst. Then in February, Stones guitarist Keith Richards, no stranger to booze himself, told vodka aficionado Ronnie to dry out or he might be tossed from the group's upcoming tour plans.
It's indeed been a controversial year for the guitarist and grandfather of six since he left his wife, Jo, last summer after 23 years of marriage for Russian-born model Ekaterina Ivanova, who's now 20 years old. Although initially distraught when Ronnie moved out of the family's estate in last October, his estranged wife, who has been tapped to appear on the BBC One ballroom competition 'Strictly Come Dancing,' is now relieved.
"He's kind of done me a favor," says Jo Wood. "I'm a lot happier now and feel as if I've got my life back."

yeah exile on main is my fave.i caught em 3 times back in 94 and they were great.sad to say but their best days are behind them tho.i figure w their "track" record if keith or ronnie can keep a spike out of their arms they arent doing too bad.lighten up people,if i had to deal w that airport bs id have at least a few drinks before.

Ronnie has a terrible addiction, those who love the Stones know this and that he has fought it through recent years. As for Keith telling him what to do, well, Keith has been sober for years as has Mick. It took them awhile and it may show in their faces but they all are still the most awesome rock musicians of the past 50 years!! I would ask Gina and Jeff to sit down and REALLY listen to a couple of albums like Sticky Fingers and Exile on Main Street. They might learn something about music.

The Stones and the members of the band - believe it or not- are living legends. Listen to the music. Turn it up loud. It doesn't matter which era. Anything. Let them live their lives as they like. Every one of them has given us so much rock n' roll pleasure....I can only be thankful. Be grateful for what they have done, because without them....well...It could be a dull sad place...if you don't know the music...don't say a thing.
Otherwise, start me up.
