With the release of her new album, 'Everybody,' coming up on Aug. 25, we recruited singer-songwriter and avid Twitter user Ingrid Michaelson (@ingridmusic) to answer fan questions in a special Twitterview. While Michaelson is currently leading up to release day by rolling out daily previews of the record, she took the time to chat with Spinner (@SpinnerTweet) about her love of 'Mad Men' redhead Christina Hendricks and the "good make out show" 'True Blood,' her favorite new tune and the things her fans do that brighten her day. Ingrid, what made you pick up the ukulele? It seems like such a random instrument that you made hot. (via @schrutelove)

I am lazy! It is easier than a guitar because it has 4 strings. I also love the way mine sounds ... so sweet and small and delicate.

A lot of us are lucky to know your music from 'Grey's Anatomy.' How did Alex Patsavas get in contact with you? (via @danhe13)

A licensing company found me on MySpace. They pitched my tunes to Alex. Simple as that!

Which TV show would you most want to hear yourself on that hasn't yet featured your music? (via @ashleyiasimone)

'TRUE BLOOD.' I am obsessed. It's a good make out show :)

What/who have you been listening to this summer? (via @charity_painter)

I love Lisa Hannigan's record. @greglaswell's new EP (which is out soon) is amazing. And Beyonce.

Really anywhere. I can be on the tour bus, in my hotel room at home ... anywhere. My one requirement is that I am alone.

You've talked about feeling lonely on the road. What food/drink do you find comforting when that happens? (via @Graydro)

I am not a big drinker ... I like chocolate chip cookies. Fans bring them to me on the road and it brightens my day.

Who do you think is the hottest redhead? (via @Adam_NYC)

UGH Christina Hendricks (Joan Holloway) from 'Mad Men.' I want to look like her. Her beauty is just unfair.

I usually do come out after 15-20 minutes just so it is manageable. I like seeing people but too many overwhelms me!

Judy Garland. I grew up watching her movies. I love her so much.

I'm not ... I don't eat pigs though. They are too smart. My favo animal is a dog. Specifically my dog, Molly Michaelson.
