Man Sets World Record After Drumming for Nearly 103 Hours

A session drummer from suburban London has apparently broken the world record for longest continuous drumming. Twenty-five-year-old Phil Knight pounded the drums for just under 103 hours, taking 20-minute food-and-bathroom breaks every four hours, for supportive onlookers in Leicester Square in London's West End. He beat the previous record by four minutes.
After meeting actress Emma Thompson at a gig, Knight pledged to set the record to raise money for the Helen Bamber Foundation, which provides support to victims of human rights violations. Sir Elton John and Craig David were among the better-known musicians who sent encouragement.
In total, Knight had only two and a half hours of sleep over the nearly five-day ordeal. After sleeping it off, he said he felt fine, other than a few aches and pains. While playing, he reportedly suffered hallucinations: He thought someone might actually help him haul out his drum kit.

It is wonderful..excellent and good and great what this drummer did. I don't think that I could play for 12 hours with three 20 minute breaks inside of that half o' day. May God bless you and those that you did it for.

I'm amazed that anyone can even sit and hit the drums for any length of time over three hours lol. Five days, now that's darn impressive, kudos to the drummer for doing this for charity!
My Grandchildren, two boys age 11 and one age 15, a Granddaughter age 16 all play guitar and one of the 11 year olds plays guitar and drums. I plan on sharing this article with them!

Why does it say continuous drumming he stop for 20 min every 4 hours thats not continuous. It damn impressive tho and props on the record.
