Freddie Mercury's Mustache Named Best in UK

The English have a saying, "A man without a mustache is like a cup of tea without sugar." We know how Freddie Mercury took his tea: The late Queen frontman has just been honored for the spectacular amplitude of his signature cookie duster.

In a poll released in conjunction with Tacheback, an annual fundraising event in which British men are encouraged to cultivate their lip ticklers for cancer research, Mercury was named the possessor of the UK's No. 1 mustache. Other honorees included comic actors John Cleese, Charlie Chaplin and Peter Sellers.

The rest of the list features more show-biz types and athletes. With only one rocker making the cut, John Oates might want to consider applying for dual citizenship.
