This is a little late but I had to comment - which I never do on these things - I am 40 yrs old have two kids and one of the greatest moms on the planet. I wasn't the easiest child to raise and I KNOW I am the reason for many of the wrinkles she has gained over her 70+ years.
I don't know where to start -
Deni - stop judging - and they didn't go on TV to be judged they did it to entertain and more so to make money - if what they did and said were not controversial - do ya think the network would have put them on the air? Was it a good decision for them to do the show? Who am I to say? Thats not my call - it was theirs and they made it.

Luie - coudn't agree with you more!!! If you folks feel the new younger generations have no respect and are generally spolied brats it is up to you to change that within you own homes - it took us a lot of years to get where we are now and it will take just as many to change things. Start with your kids. Respect comes in many forms and the newer generations have less and less and this will continue becuase parents find it easier to let their children do as they will, spare the rod and spoil the child (no I am not a corpral punishment Nazi - I hit them where it hurts - no video games or TV or just send them to their rooms - we don't hit in my house and don't have to) or are so wrapped up in their careers, television or building a social network online and surfing the net that the Children act out for attention many times they do so by being disrespectful to not only their parents but teachers and peers - THEY JUST WANT YOU TO TALK TO AND/ PLAY WITH THEM.
It is up to the parents, the role models and authority figures in their childrens lives to mold them, guide them and set the example of respecting others regardless of the person they are dealing with. Most of all the parents MUST respect their children. Yes I am the king of my castle (when my wife is not home) but my children are treated as equals. They are allowed to make some decision on their own, others with a little "help" from us and of course some not at all. Now, they are not perfect but they have manners, understand that repsect should be given to their elders and the level of respect you have for people is earned by them and given by you.
I'm not braggin on my kids or our methods - that is just how it is in our house. We just want to raise a well adjusted, confident, law abiding children that are able to think for themselves, make good decisions and take care of themselves down the road. Oh and tell them you LOVE them everyday and show them not only in your words but in your actions towards not only them but their mother too.

We laugh and joke in my house and some of the best times I recall are when everyone is joking on the other one - if you folks find Kelly's or my comment offensive - sorry - but the bottom line is - she's not going to change or read this thread - we will never know how she really feels about her mom and vice versa. Concentrate on your family and make sure your relationship is strong enough that you can laugh and poke fun with one another and that you can be honest and if needed brutally honest with them and when it is said and done still sit down and have dinner and laugh like you did when they were little.
I'm off my soapbox - sorry for the length and if I got too off topic - sorry for that too.

Sharon loves the kids on Americas Got Talent because all she got was those two losers Kelly and Jack.

Some very interesting comments have been made. I wonder how many are from kids, young adults or old farts like me (53). I raised two kids while being in the military, married to a drunk who left us (for an older woman) and I worked two jobs to ensure my children had everything they needed and wanted. Both my kids are productive members of society, my son has hair to his butt, and tattoo's and so does his wife, but both are professional people who dress for work, keep their private lives private and have fun before they have kids. My daughter is a college graduate and a high level employee of one of the biggest department stores in the world.
Many have said "do not Judge yet ye be Judged), I've been judged by the best and when my time comes I will ask the Lord for forgiveness and hopefully go through the pearly gates.
People like the Osborn's who have a national TV show, put themselves out there to be judged. They crave the attention, when a question is asked and you answer it with honesty, you don't expect SOME people to come back and call you names. PEACE LOVER have you ever worked towards PEACE or did you just think it was a cool name?

@red reader: Spot on. When I was her age, saying some of the crap I have heard her say would have been grounds for a trip out behind the woodshed....and "because I said so" was still a valid reason for a child to do (or not do) something. These days, it's all "me-me-me" and kids forget about who, and what, got them where they are.

I take exception to your statement that she had everything she ever wanted or needed. She never had a normal life or normal parents. Also, it seems like she NEEDED a BIT more discipline than she obviously had.

Kelly making fun of how her mother looks??? Jeez, does she ever look in the mirror at herself? At least Sharon can minimize her wrinkles with Botox - Kelly would have to have her head amputated to make her look any better.

Sharon Osbourne is a complete loser along with her kids. How many of your kids have been in rehab while they were still teenagers ? Oh yes! I forgot you were out trying to be famous during that time!!
