Vampire Weekend Announce New Album Details + More

Vampire Weekend have announced a Jan. 12, 2010 street date for their highly anticipated sophomore LP 'Contra.'

A new track by legendary DJ Tiesto, featuring Jonsi of Sigur Ros, has hit the internet.

The Flaming Lips will be tussling with Steven Colbert on 'The Colbert Report' this Wednesday.

Legendary punk group the Slits are releasing their first studio album in 25 years, 'Trapped Tiger' on Oct. 5.

Radiohead drummer Phil Selway has announced that he will be releasing a solo album, which he is still in the process of recording. Selway sings on the record and he also enlisted the services of Wilco members Glenn Kotche and Pat Sansone.

Can't wait for Vampire Weekend's new album, it's gonna be amazing!!! Wonder if they are still feeling "so unnatural, Peter Gabriel too"??
