Jeremy Enigk, 'Mind Idea' -- Video Premiere

Skateboarding has been at the heart of many memorable videos, and Jeremy Enigk continues the trend with his latest clip for 'Mind Idea,' the piano-based lead track from his fifth solo release, 'OK Bear.' The frontman for the recently reunited Seattle emo pioneers Sunny Day Real Estate doesn't actually appear in the video, instead keeping the focus on the visual poetry captured by slow-motion shots of a group of skaters in action. "I am pleased that it's not a traditional video in the sense that there are no obligatory cuts to me on the guitar interrupting the flow of imagery," Enigk tells Spinner.

Directed by AG Rojas, the clip's subtle beauty is a perfect aesthetic match for Enigk's wistful tune--and Egnik couldn't be happier. "What can I say? It's a beautiful video," he told us. "I am proud to have it represent my song." Have a look at the exclusive video premiere after the jump.
