Just as their latest album 'The Resistance' unleashes frontman Matt Bellamy's latest conspiracies relating to the new world order, Muse have admitted they wouldn't say no to writing a Bond theme."It's something we'd probably say yes to, or at least give it a good go," drummer Dom Howard told the BBC News website. "Certainly some of our music fits with the James Bond vibe -- and I think it could work," Howard said.
Daniel Craig is set to make his third appearance as 007 in the 23rd edition of the official Bond big-screen adventures, though no date for the filming of the movie has yet been made public.
The song for the most recent Bond caper 'The Quantum of Solace', 'Another Way to Die,' was recorded by White Stripes frontman Jack White and Alicia Keys.
"The last few have been pretty good," said Howard. "But I think we could do a good job. 'United States of Eurasia' [a track off the new record] could have worked but it's probably a bit late for that now."
Despite Bond risking life and limb on Her Majesty's Secret Service, no British band has done the theme song to a Bond film since Duran Duran's 'A View to a Kill' in 1985. Is it time for Bond to buy British?
Muse, meanwhile are preparing for their tour for 'The Resistance' which will include U.S. dates supporting U2 later this month.
